6 Facts to Know: Knicks vs. Bucks

The Knicks are right back it tonight as they host the Bucks.

Coverage begins at 7 PM on MSG & MSG GO. Download the app for free.

1 Going Back to Back

Tonight marks the Knicks final of 14 back-to-backs of the season after they defeated the Heat, 122-98, Friday night at The Garden.

New York is 4-9 in the second game of back-to-back sets this season.

2 Oh, What a Night

Rookie guard Damyean Dotson erupted for a career-high 30 points and 11 rebounds off the bench Friday against the Heat.

Dotson became the first Knicks rookie to have a 30-10 game since Patrick Ewing.

With Tim Hardaway Jr. (ankle) doubtful for tonight’s game, expect Dotson to see heavy minutes again.

What does he have in store for an encore?

3 The Other Guys

Damyean Dotson wasn’t the only Knicks rookie to have a big night on Friday.

Luke Kornet, Frank Ntilikina and Isaiah Hicks all had solid games and combined, the four Knicks rookies had 64 points on 24-45 shooting.

This was especially encouraging after they all struggled Tuesday against Orlando with just eight points combined.

4 So Far this Season

New York is looking for their first win of the season against Milwaukee, as the Bucks have won the three previous meetings.

Their most recent matchup resulted in a 120-112 Bucks win on March 9.

The Knicks have struggled against the Bucks recently, losing 11 of the last 14 against them.

5 Trainer's Room

In addition to Tim Hardaway Jr. (ankle), Enes Kanter (back, wrist), who has missed the last three games, is also doubtful.

Also, Michael Beasley, who returned last night after missing Tuesday’s game with an illness, left last night’s game in the first minute with a left knee contusion and is questionable for tonight’s game.

6 Next Man Up

With Enes Kanter sidelined, Kyle O’Quinn had stepped up and filled in admirably at the center position.

O’Quinn had 14 points and 14 rebounds in just 22 minutes last night and is averaging 11.7 points, 13.7 rebounds and 3 blocks over the last three games.
