It’s the shortest road trip for the Knicks, as they head over to Brooklyn to take on the Nets. The Knicks will be looking to improve on their 1-8 road record and extend their winning streak to three games.
The Knicks won the first meeting of the season back on Oct. 27, trouncing their local rivals, 107-86.
Kristaps Porzingis had a monstrous performance in the Knicks’ OT win over the Lakers on Tuesday, becoming the first player in NBA history to record at least 35 points, 10 rebounds, 5 blocks and 5 three-pointers in a game.
KP finished his night with 37 points against LA and has recorded back-to-back 30-plus point games.
Frank Ntilikina rose up to the challenge in his duel with fellow 2017 NBA Draft pick Lonzo Ball and tallied a career-high 13 points in the win over Los Angeles. He also added 5 assists and 5 rebounds in an all-around solid performance.
The Nets obtained Jahlil Okafor from the 76ers in a trade last week. He was taken one pick ahead of Porzingis during the 2015 NBA Draft.
Okafor has played in only two games this season and hasn’t played for the Nets since coming over from Philly.
