Getting excited for what Kevin Knox can do on the court, Knicks fans?
The 2018 first-round selection continued to turn heads at NBA Summer League, erupting for a game-high 29 points and 9 rebounds in the Knicks’ 107-92 loss to the Lakers Tuesday.
Knox was getting done on both ends early, showing excellent defensive awareness and playmaking ability.

Knox continues to display a well-rounded offensive game and displayed the ability to use his left hand for the drive and score against the Lakers.

Despite his best efforts, the Knicks found themselves behind 53-42 at the half.

Down by as many as 25 points, Knox ignited the comeback with a phenomenal “third quarter of zoom,” pouring in 16 points. The rookie simply could not miss.

While the spotlight shined brightly on Knox, his fellow rookie, Mitchell Robinson, continued to show encouraging signs on the defensive end. Bringing weak stuff into Mr. Robinson’s neighborhood will be rudely rejected.

But in the end, the night belonged to Knox, who continues to build an impressive resume at Summer League.

STAT OF THE NIGHT: Lost in Knox exploits was the solid performance put up by Allonzo Trier, who played point guard in place of the injured Frank Ntilikina. The former Arizona star posted 21 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists.
