Ewing finished the day 28 points, 17 rebounds and 2 blocks while Jordan countered with 30 points, 3 rebounds, 5 dimes, 6 steals, and 2 blocks himself. However, it was Ewing who would get the better of Jordan on this day as Patrick hit a putback jumper as time expired to give the Knicks a 86-85 victory.
