Columbus has been a happy hunting ground for the Blueshirts in recent years. The Rangers have won nine of 12 against the Blue Jackets dating back to Jan. 16, 2015. They have also recorded a win in seven of its last nine contests in Columbus dating back to Nov. 7, 2013.
Columbus was the scene of one of the most dramatic moments of the Rangers’ 2016-17 season, as Michael Grabner scored a game-winning goal 16.5 seconds left to lift the Blueshirts to a 5-4 comeback win on Jan. 7, 2017.
